Verse Bible uses public-domain, open, locally bundled, and publisher-controlled resources to support simple verse-by-verse Bible reading, meditation, sharing, and offline-friendly use.
Verse Bible includes Strong's Dictionaries of Hebrew and Greek from Open Scriptures, generated from the Open Scriptures Strong's repository and used for the in-app Strong's lookup feature. Source: github.com/openscriptures/strongs. License: GPL-3.0. The underlying Strong's dictionary material is derived from James Strong's public-domain dictionaries.
Verse Bible may include bundled ambient audio for optional background listening while reading. Audio is provided only as part of the Verse Bible reading experience and is not sold as a separate audio product. Release archives should retain source and license records for each recording.
Verse Bible includes locally bundled web fonts for the reading interface, Jacob mode, themed text mode, picture mode, and image exports. Font license records are retained with the release archive.
The app uses publisher-provided brand images, interface icons, and locally bundled witness images where source/license records are retained. Verse image exports, shared scripture images, and downloaded picture-mode frames are generated by the user's device from the current verse, selected theme, and optional user-selected background image. Users are responsible for having rights to any custom image they upload or use in a generated export.
Verse Bible includes devotional reflections, witness stories, and quote-style reading cards to support meditation. Public-domain or permission-cleared material should be preferred for public release, and source records should be retained with the release archive.
The Verse Bible logo, name, and brand presentation are owned or controlled by the publisher. Do not reuse the Verse Bible brand separately without permission.
Verse Bible does not include account creation or cloud sync in this version. Saved verses, notes, reading progress, theme choices, audio choices, reader focus mode, and settings remain on the user's device and browser.
Verse Bible exists to make Bible reading easier, calmer, and less overwhelming. The app presents scripture one verse at a time so readers can meditate on the Word of God and keep moving through books of the Bible with focus and consistency.
