Verse Bible is a Bible reading and reflection app published by Verse River / KnowHoly. This policy explains what the app stores, what stays on your device, and when a request may leave your device.
This version of Verse Bible does not include user registration, sign-in, cloud sync, or account-based daily message delivery. Your saved verses, notes, reading progress, and settings remain local to the device and browser where you use the app.
Verse Bible stores app data on your device using browser storage. This may include saved verses, notes, reading progress, Bible version, selected theme, picture-mode settings, Jacob mode selection, text size, scroll speed, selected audio, reader focus preference during the session, and downloaded Bible chapters for offline reading.
When you share, copy, or download scripture images, those actions are initiated by you on your device. The app may use your browser's share, clipboard, or download features. Verse Bible does not upload your notes or generated verse images to a Verse Bible account in this version.
Ambient audio is bundled into the app. The volume setting is stored locally. Music stops when the app is hidden, closed, backgrounded, or no longer actively used.
Verse Schedules may offer optional reminder notifications. Notifications are only requested if you choose to enable them, and you can turn them off in your browser, device, or app wrapper settings.
The app may request Bible text or search results from public Bible APIs, including bolls.life and bible-api.com. These services may receive technical request information such as IP address, browser details, and the requested passage or search term. Verse Bible does not sell personal information.
Verse Bible may cache app files so the app opens faster and can show saved pages when offline. You may also download the selected Bible translation to this device before reading on weak Wi-Fi. Fresh chapters, API-powered search, or content that has not been downloaded may require an internet connection.
You can clear local app data from the in-app Reset App Data button in Settings, or from your browser or device settings. Because this version does not provide cloud accounts, deleting browser storage removes the app data stored by Verse Bible on that device.
Verse Bible is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13.
